WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Kansas voters have 14 other people they can choose for United States president. A relatively new Kansas law requires write-in candidates to file with the Secretary of State’s Office, and 14 people did. Two are from Kansas.
While your ballot will only show Democrat Kamala Harris, Republican Donald Trump, Libertarian Chase Oliver, and Independent Robert Kennedy Jr., you can write in any of these names:

Any votes for these candidates will be counted. If you write in any other name, such as Mickey Mouse, Superman, or your pet’s name, it will not be counted.
You will not be able to see the write-in results on election night. The Secretary of State’s Office plans to release the numbers when it finalizes the 2024 election results.
