COLUMBUS, Ohio — Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump could be in attendance for Ohio State’s game at Penn State on Nov. 2.
Trump’s team is making plans for him to be at the game just three days before Election Day, according to a report from Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports. Plans have not been finalized.
The game inside Beaver Stadium is exactly a week after Trump has a rally scheduled in State College, Pennsylvania — a pivotal swing state in his race against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump is no stranger to college football Saturdays. He attended Alabama’s thrilling victory against Georgia on Sept. 28.
No. 4 Ohio State hosts Nebraska on Saturday before making the trip to Beaver Stadium. No. 3 Penn State plays at Wisconsin on Saturday.
If both teams win this week, and they’re favored to do so, it would likely set up a top-four matchup.
The winner would have a clear path to making the Big Ten title game.
