“Happy Halloween” at Parc des Moulins

Save your October 31st! For the 6th consecutive year, the Parc des Moulins welcomes you that day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting, for a great free day in the open air full of mysteries and thrills. Among the highlights, the photo competition for the worst disguise, proposed by the city of Troyes and the Union Photographique Champenoise, but also a Cluedo Géant, a life-size enigma to solve with your children aged 6 to 15 in the heart of this lung green located a few minutes from downtown Troyes, rue Guillaume Le Bé. Discover the city of Troyes in the Halloween atmosphere

Troyes la Champagne Tourisme is multiplying the activities to take you on a fun tour of the prefectural city of Aube during these All Saints’ Day holidays. Until November 9, a free treasure hunt “The Bewitched Cauldron of Grimalkin” is offered to children up to 12 years old accompanied by an adult. You will have to solve small puzzles through clues scattered in the windows of partner merchants to find the ingredients for a wizarding cat’s potion. Many prizes are to be won by drawing lots and a gift is offered to all young participants. Participation form to be collected from the Troyes La Champagne Tourisme reception, 16 rue Aristide Briand in Troyes, and from partner merchants.

All at the museums for Halloween

Trojan museums are getting in tune with October 31, particularly the Natural History Museum in Saint-Loup Abbey to introduce children to the place in a different way. On the program, stories and nursery rhymes around the wolf for the youngest aged 4 to 6 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., a visit for the general public on “The animals of our nightmares” at 2:30 p.m. to discover as a family, and a Night game “The Werewolves of Thiercelieux” for older children aged 12 and over, with 4 sessions at 7 p.m., 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Everything is free but reservations are required at 03.25.42.20.09.

An immersive show at Château de la Motte Tilly

For the 3rd consecutive year, the Château de la Motte Tilly, built in its current form in the 18th century, offers you an immersive experience to discover the place in a different way. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from November 1 to 24, more than 200 volunteers (amateur actors, costume designers, decorators, hairdressers, restaurateurs, etc.) offer you a new story, “ball and masks”, an intrigue in a masked ball organized by the count and countess of the castle in 1928. According to rumor, members of the Apaches, the most feared gang in Paris, mingled with the guests. Who are they? What are their intentions? Are there other dangers? It’s up to you to discover it at the heart of this performance accessible to young and old alike, with a glass of champagne offered to adults.
