Encourage critical thinking through the An-Najah Program

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 25 OCT- The An-Najah program which was held for the first time organized by the Brunei Religious School Leaders Committee 1 is designed to increase the level of knowledge of the students before they sit for the Grade 6 Religious Secondary School Examination Certificate (SSSRU) and to ensure that they are prepared for succeed in academics.

With the sponsorship support and Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam’s (BIBD) commitment to promote education and community development, the program is a nationwide quiz competition for 6th grade students from religious schools that aims to nurture outstanding student minds by providing intellectual challenges and thought leadership skills. .

By participating in this program, students have the opportunity to increase their interest in reading and improve their information seeking skills, as well as encourage participants to explore various religious topics and develop critical thinking skills.

The An-Najah program also helps reinforce important concepts and promote a deeper understanding of Islamic studies in the country.

BIBD’s sponsorship support demonstrates its commitment to promoting lifelong learning and community development, contributing to the creation of a fairer and more inclusive society, in line with BIBD’s Sustainability Framework, under the pillar of Inclusive Social Impact.
