BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 9 – In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Women’s Police Establishment, a group of former female police officers held a luncheon at a restaurant in Bandar Seri Begawan recently.
The ceremony, which was attended by about 60 former female police officers, was conducted on the initiative of former Sergeant Major Hjh Latifah binti Mohd Harun and former Staff Sergeant Hjh Siti Rukiah binti Abdullah Juing.
The ceremony began with the recitation of surah AL-Fatihah dedicated to former female police officers who have returned to Rahmatullah which was then followed by a prayer of safety.
With an event like this, it is hoped that it will be able to strengthen the friendship that is already established between its members.
