An 11-year-old boy was hit by an as yet unknown driver in Berlin-Biesdorf. According to initial police reports, the boy was trying to cross a zebra crossing on Garzauer Strasse on Friday afternoon when he was hit by a car. He was thrown through the air and suffered head injuries, among other things, it was reported. The 11-year-old was taken to hospital. The driver fled the scene of the accident without being identified, said a spokeswoman. However, a license plate was found on site. Further police investigations have been launched.
