Singer Adira denies the slander that she is cohabiting with her ex-husband, Datuk Seri Adnan Abu, even though they divorced last April.
Adira or Siti Adira Suhaimi, 32, on the other hand explained that Adnan often appeared in his live broadcast videos simply to help them sell their business. In fact, Adira is clear that if Adnan or Datuk Red come to the house, there will usually be other people instead of the two of them.
“I’m still a single mother and we don’t live together! Even if you live together, there will be other people. In my house there are 16 people in total! Don’t worry be safe.
“I understand people will talk but my intention is only to help sales or show up for a moment when he comes home to see the children. You have to watch my live from beginning to end to understand,” he said mStar.
Adira explained the matter when met at the concert press conference A Night With Sumandak Stars which took place in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
In the meantime, Adira explained that she and Adnan chose to continue their good relationship for the sake of their children. In fact, Adira said, she also put the matter of marriage with Adnan in the hands of God but did not think too much about the matter.
“We chose to continue our good relationship because there are many things I don’t need to tell and for the sake of the children. If there is a match then it is. If there is none, it doesn’t matter,” he said.
For the record, Adira and Datuk Red got married in Songkhla, Thailand on 3 December 2015 and legally divorced on 24 April. As a result of the marriage, the couple was blessed with four children namely Anggrek, 6, Asan, 5, Anggun, 4, and Ayob who is now one year old. – Agency
