The decline in fuel prices continues: The price of gasoline has fallen to its lowest level since the end of 2021, according to data from the ADAC. The nationwide daily average for E10 premium gasoline was 1.643 euros per liter on Wednesday. Diesel had already undercut all previous daily average prices for 2024, 2023 and 2022 a day earlier. The fuel is now at 1.546 euros per liter. Both E10 and diesel have thus fallen by a further 0.7 cents since Tuesday. The main drivers of the downward trend, which has been ongoing for weeks, are the recent drop in oil prices.
