BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 11 OCT – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam agreed to attend the Gala Dinner yesterday.
The ceremony hosted by His Excellency Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic as Chairman of ASEAN and his wife, Madame Vandara Siphandone, was to celebrate the presence of the Heads of State and Government of ASEAN and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, Leaders of Dialogue Partner Countries , and special guests attending the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits.
Leaving to accompany His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is His Royal Highness Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Mateen.
Upon arrival at the National Convention Center (NCC), Vientiane, His Majesty was welcomed by His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and his wife.
The ceremony was also graced with cultural performances.
