AKRON, Ohio — A Summit County jury on Monday convicted an Akron man of shooting and killing a woman sitting in her car in the driveway of her home.
Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich says Antonio Miller, 27, was found guilty of aggravated murder, two counts of murder and felonious assault. All of the charges come with gun specifications.
Miller was accused by police of ambushing Tina Case, 50, at about 10:35 p.m. on April 7, 2022, as she sat in her vehicle in the driveway of her Kenmore neighborhood home. Case was pronounced dead at the scene at the residence on the 600 block of Koerber Avenue, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was shot multiple times.
Prosecutor’s say Miller and Case’s daughter had broken up following a five-year on-and-off relationship. Miller was arrested five months later after security camera video linked him to the crime.
Miller is scheduled to be sentenced at 10 a.m. on Oct. 28.
