CLEVELAND, Ohio – Akron Mayor Shammas Malik on Monday said an Akron police school resource officer punched a student in the head last week at Firestone Community Learning Center.
Malik said during a news conference that video of the Wednesday incident was “upsetting” and that Akron police launched an investigation into the incident.
