Arabic speaking skill level program

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 18- In order to foster interest and improve Arabic speaking skills among students, the Temburong Arab School held a Hayya llal ‘Arabiyyah (Let’s Speak Arabic) program with the theme of Al-Mu’alim (Teacher) held at the school this morning earlier.

Present as the guest of honor at the ceremony was the Chief Religious Officer of Temburong District, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Harris Hamdillah bin Haji Masri.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah A-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by a speech from Temburong Arab School Headmaster, Dayang Serikartini binti Haji Omar.

Among the contents of the program include a skit presentation and a greeting as well as a visit to the activity areas and a screen display in Arabic.

In order to achieve the objectives of the program, the activities of the event focus on strengthening listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in Arabic.

The Hayya llal ‘Arabiyah (Let’s Speak Arabic) program is one of the initiatives of the Department of Islamic Studies run by Arab schools to strengthen the mastery of the Arabic language among students, in addition to fostering a healthy competitive spirit among Arab school students.
