BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 9 SEPT – A total of over 900 delegates including a delegation from Brunei Darussalam represented by members of the Brunei Malay Teachers’ Federation (PGGMB) had the opportunity to share experiences and best practices in education during the ASEAN+Korea Teachers’ Council Conference ( ACT+1) The 38th held at Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand.
The conference that began on September 6 closed yesterday where the heads of delegations consisting of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Korea signed the ACT+1 Conference Resolution 39th in 2025.
Secretary General of PGGMB, Cikgu Haji Mustapa bin Haji Masri stated that the conference was about the theme Promoting Happy and Sustainable Schooling in Education is very significant and relevant for educators and teachers to improve and diversify teaching and learning procedures that are more interesting and fun for students.
He added that the papers presented by each representative of ASEAN countries have been able to provide various techniques and innovations in delivering better and quality teaching and learning.
Cikgu Haji Mustapa also expressed the hope that more teachers will participate in the ACT+1 Conference that will take place in the Philippines in 2025.
