ATM service technician robbed at gunpoint outside South Euclid bank

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — Police are searching for two suspects who robbed an ATM service technician Wednesday outside a bank.

A news release from police says the robbery occurred just before noon at the Chase Bank branch at 14133 Cedar Road. Both suspects were wearing masks, leaving only their eyes visible, and one was armed with a 9mm handgun.

After obtaining cash, the two suspects left in what police believe is a black 2013 Hyundai Sonata with heavily tinted windows and chrome door handles. A wheel rim on the driver’s front side does not match the other rims, police say.

The armed suspect was wearing black jogging pants, a black hooded sweat shirt and Nike Jordan 11 Retro Concord 2011 shoes. Police say he also was wearing S Series 2015 Ormadus gray/orange/yellow impact-protection gloves.

The second suspect was wearing a black North Face fleece jacket with a gray hoodie underneath, navy blue Adidas sweat pants, and Timberland-style work boots. A description of the vehicle’s driver was not available.

The ATM technician was not injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information on the suspects can call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463 or go to www.25crime.com.
