Indonesian teenage actor, Ibrahim Khalil Alkatiri or better known as Baim Cilik appeared to share the sad news of facing financial problems after being abandoned by his biological father, Halil since 2022.
According to reports Tribune NewsBaim, 19, said he had to go out to earn his own living because he had to pay school fees and expenses. Baim’s story, since his parents divorced, he only received alimony for five months and his father started neglecting the responsibility.
“At the beginning of 2022, I was very depressed, I fell and finally got up on my own with the support of my mother and brother. There’s nothing I can do, thankfully I still have people around me who love me,” he said.
To cover expenses for himself and his family, Baim said he runs a perfume and goat milk business. In fact, he thought of returning to the entertainment industry to generate more income.
“I just thought why he (father) did this, why he didn’t fulfill his responsibilities as a father. Right now I want to go back to the entertainment world, but I have to follow step by step again, starting from scratch. I want to prove to my father that I can still succeed even without his help,” he said. – Agency
