Bayern Munich will have to do without Manuel Neuer for the away match against Werder Bremen at short notice. The former national goalkeeper was initially on the starting line-up, but had to drop out after warming up. Neuer sustained a minor thigh injury in the 9:2 Champions League win against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday evening.
“Manuel Neuer stopped the warm-up. His thigh showed a slight reaction. In order not to take any risks, Sven Ulreich will replace him between the posts,” Bayern announced shortly before kick-off.
