Actor and comedian Bell Ngasri panicked when he saw that his name was on the list of individuals wanted to be sued by actor Datuk Rosyam Nor.
Bell or Nasrizal Ngasri, 44, said it was because of that that he kept uploading the explanation of the profile that was not his but a fake account using his name.
“Kechoh Rosyam made a police report and suddenly there was my name. When do I talk about people? Apparently the account’s fan page is fake. So when Rosyam wants to sue, I get worried because I’m a bit of a coward… Then I upload an explanation on Instagram to clarify that the account is not me,” he told mStar.
Sharing further, Bell breathed a sigh of relief after Rosyam told her that she was not behind the account but that there were irresponsible individuals using the artist’s name for their own benefit.
“Alhamdulillah, apparently he already knew it was someone else’s work. But the thing that bothers me is that there are many people who use the artist’s name to create fan pages and publish nonsense stories that have elements of defamation,” he said.
Asked if Bell would take action like Rosyam, he said he didn’t know what action to take.
This is because he once reprimanded fake accounts that spread defamatory news but did not get any response.
“I don’t want to take action, I don’t know what to do. Actually, I have warned you not to use names because of the danger, but there was no response. But I didn’t even think about filing a police report, even though now I’m being trampled on even more if I remain silent,” he explained.
Last Thursday, Rosyam finished filing a police report regarding allegations that she was slandered on social media. Through the transmission made, what attracted attention was a Facebook account in the name of Bell Ngasri.
But Bell immediately came forward to explain the confusion by saying that the account was not valid and was simply using his name.
