Stacy’s withdrawal from the concert A Night With Sumandak Stars became the talk of the fandom.
As one of the people who will perform at the concert, singer Didi Astillah said what happened did not involve her.
Even Didi or Dayang Nazilah Awang Astillah, 28, also insisted that he and his sister Bella Astillah were not the organizers of the concert.
“I don’t know about that (Stacy’s resignation). That’s all from the organizers. I only found out from social media. We (Didi and Bella) have nothing to do with it. We are just guest artists called to sing. I think this is an opportunity and sustenance,” he said mStar.
Last Friday, Stacy announced she was withdrawing as one of the singers who will perform at the concert.
Through a media interview, Stacy mentioned a number of reasons including some things that were not agreed with the organizers.
He also mentioned that the concert was initially named Bella & Friends and disagreed with the poster design that highlighted Bella Astillah’s face.
Following that, many fans also expressed their happiness when highlighting Bella while other singers have better reputations in the art world. Commenting on the matter, Didi agreed to the responses of various parties regarding the issue.
“We cannot stop people from speaking. I don’t know anything and I can’t comment on this.
“Initially I only made an appearance at the concert and didn’t know that the picture was also on the poster. Once again I emphasize that Bella and I have nothing to do with the management of the concert,” he explained.
In addition to Didi and Bella, the concert that will take place on November 30 also features other female singers from Sabah, namely Marsha Milan, Nikki Palikat, Wani Kayrie and Adira. – Agency
