Thanks to “AirTag” and satellite tracking, a Berliner got his stolen luxury travel bag back within a few minutes. The bag had been stolen from the 30-year-old stolen in an ICE to Düsseldorf The police reported that he had lost his car shortly before reaching Düsseldorf.

By emergency call the Berlin policeman guided him to a park benchin which a 17-year-old had already repackaged part of the bag’s contents and simply put on a pair of the 30-year-old’s trousers himself.
He had to take off his new outfit on the spot, according to a police spokesman. The Berliner was able to continue his journey with his luggage and the youth was released from police custody a day later.
“AirTag” uses the network of all Apple devices
An “AirTag” is a tracking device from Apple the size of a two-euro coin. It can be stored in luggage, for example or attach to bicycles as theft protection.
