On Saturday evening (6 p.m.) there will be a “block party” in the park in Kreuzberg, where the rapper Wa22ermann, the rapper 44Grad and the singer Kane will also be on stage. Peter Fox published the flyer for the concert in his Instagram story.
The Berlin Senate wants to build a fence around Görlitzer Park to curb drug-related crime and conflicts in the park. Initiatives want to prevent a fence and the nightly closure of the park. The Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district is also using legal means to fight against the planned fencing.
At the beginning of September, Seeed singer Fox and other Berlin musicians attracted several thousand fans to a “pool party” at the Columbiabad. “We wanted to do something in a place that has recently received a lot of negative press. Let’s have fun here today,” he said. The outdoor pool in Neukölln was evacuated several times last summer because of violent youths. Security measures were then increased.
