Brandenburg’s municipalities complain about billion-dollar gap in investment

Brandenburg’s towns and municipalities are missing around 1.87 billion euros annually for urgently needed investments. This corresponds to an amount of 727 euros per inhabitant, said the President of the Association of Towns and Municipalities, Wittenberg’s Mayor Oliver Hermann, to journalists in Potsdam on Thursday. Shortly before the state elections on September 22nd, the municipal umbrella organization asked its members about their investment needs.
