The city of Potsdam will probably be able to support the Bergmann Clinic with millions of euros for longer than previously planned. In the main committee on Wednesday, a large majority voted in favor of a proposal from the city hall leadership that the city would now also help out with up to 15 million euros in 2026, partly because of unforeseeable cost increases. In addition, a municipal loan of 20 million euros is planned between 2025 and the end of 2028 to ensure the liquidity of the building. Only the FDP and the Free Voters abstained.
