CLEVELAND, Ohio – Scribbles in my halftime notebook as the Giants led the Browns, 21-7:
1. I’ve often criticized Deshaun Watson for hanging on to the ball for too long and/or scrambling into QB sacks. That was not the problem in the first half Sunday. The Browns offensive line did a lousy job protecting the QB. Most of the rush came right up the middle. Center Ethan Pocic was having a rough game. Right tackle Dawand Jones also had some problems.
