A 66-year-old suspected love scammer will appear before the Berlin Regional Court from Wednesday (9:30 a.m.). According to investigations, the man is said to have stolen from and cheated on four women with whom he was in a relationship between May 2019 and August 2021. The prosecution assumes that there were seven cases. The crimes took place in the apartments of those affected in Berlin and Leipzig. The man swindled a loan of 15,000 euros by pretending to be willing to repay. He stole 20,000 euros from another woman. In total, the 66-year-old stole valuables and cash worth around 54,000 euros. Four days of the trial have been scheduled so far.
