WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A Colby teen was killed in a rollover crash on Sunday. It happened around 8:45 a.m. in the 2700 block of County Road U northeast of Colby.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Ford F-150 driven by 16-year-old Jadin Ray Hall overcorrected, went into a ditch, entered a cornfield, and overturned a number of times.
Another 16-year-old boy, a passenger inside the pickup, was seriously injured. He was taken to Citizens Medical Center in Colby. The KHP says neither was wearing seat belts.
