Actor and Director Colman Domingo toasted to the 4th Annual Academy Museum Gala with none other than Don Julio 1942.

For the 4th Annual Academy Museum Gala, eyes were on the red carpet awaiting the best looks and who would steal the show. It should come as no surprise that Colman Domingo out-styled everyone with an ensemble tailored by angels. His “robe-style black suit” was paired with a white shirt and red pants. The attire was simple yet elegant and full of details. For the record, the suit was custom Valentino.

Domingo’s Accessories demanded their moment with an arrangement of rings, bracelets, and a small handbag shaped like a white cat.

According to People, a bashful Colman downplayed the immaculate outfit referring to himself as “just a man in a suit.”

“I thought it’s fun and it’s a conversation starter,” said Domingo said of the bag. “I love standing around talking to someone, and they finally notice I have the cat. They’re like, ‘What is that?’ I’m like, ‘It’s actually a bag. It’s actually a little bag, and I could keep a few items in there.’”

The committee host revealed the bag was modeled after Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette. Domingo said the bag carried his ID and $20 because “never know if you need $20 for whatever reason.”.Others on hand for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences fundraising gala included Kim Kardashian, Pamela Anderson, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, and others. To celebrate the evening Colman and others toasted with mini-Tequila Don Julio 1942 cocktails.
