As yet unknown perpetrators have blown up an ATM on the research campus in Berlin-Buch. Campus security staff noticed the explosion early in the morning and saw two people fleeing on scooters, police said in the evening. According to the police, a door to the cafeteria had been broken open, and the ATM was in the anteroom. According to current information, the perpetrators were not able to open or steal the ATM’s safe, it was said. The investigation is ongoing.
