NFL star Dak Prescott can apparently look forward to a record contract. The 31-year-old quarterback will receive 240 million dollars (around 216 million euros) over four years from the Dallas Cowboys, reported the news agency AP. 231 million dollars are guaranteed.

However, the deal, which would bring a player an average of $60 million annually for the first time in the history of the National Football League, is not yet official. Prescott’s old contract, which guaranteed him around $40 million per year, was due to expire next year.

So far, Deshaun Watson is considered the record earner – the quarterback of the Cleveland Browns signed a $230 million package for a five-year contract two years ago.
