The table tennis players from TTC Berlin Eastside have achieved a good starting position in the qualification for the Champions League. In the first two games, the team coached by Irina Palina won 3:1 against Uniao Sebastianese FC from Portugal and 3:0 against the Spanish representative Girbau-Vic TT in the Paul-Heyse-Straße sports complex.
The teams in first and second place qualify for the group stage of the Champions League in two groups of five. In the two final qualifying matches on Sunday, the Berlin team will face the Spanish team UCAM Cartagena TM (3 p.m.) and TT Moravsky Krumlov from the Czech Republic (8 p.m.), who both won their first match.
