BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 15 – To revive the celebration of Maulidur Rasul SAW, the Dikir Maulud Ceremony was held at Istana Nurul Iman on the 11th day, yesterday.
Among those present at the event were the Minister of Youth Culture and Sports (KKBS), the Honorable Dato Seri Setia Haji Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, and the Permanent Secretary (Youth), Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin.
The ceremony started with the congregational Isyak prayer led by the Mosque Affairs Officer, Mohd Amin bin Haji Salim and then continued with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Mosque Affairs Officer, Haji Abd Aziz bin Haji Ghani followed by the recitation of verses- Holy verses of the Quran by Muhammad Nur Razin bin Rosli from Seri Begawan University College of Religion (KUPU SB).
While the tazkirah titled Tawaduk Rasulullah SAW was delivered by the Religious Development Officer at the Islamic Dakwah Center, Ustaz Haji Muhammad Najib bin Haji Awang.
The ceremony was also graced with the performance of Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Asyrakal from KKBS led by the Honorable Minister.
Next, the performance continued with Dikir Khairuman from the Royal Brunei Police Force, while Dikir Bisyahrin from Belia Masjid Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha, Rimba, and KUPU SB performed dikir Al-Hamdu and Dikir Badat.
Doa Dikir and Doa Peliharakan Sultan were read by the Mosque Affairs Officer, Haji Abd Aziz.
Also present at the ceremony were officers from the KKKBS, members of the WARGAMAS Organization, members of the Youth of the RIPAS Rimba Mosque, and also KUPU SB staff.
