Edmonton weather: Fleeting flurries followed by fulsome winds

Article content

A look at Tuesday’s Edmonton weather from Environment Canada.

It’s 1 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 6 km/h winds out of the west southwest.

It has begun!

By that I mean we’ve got our first hit of the winter flurries, albeit a very brief instance.

Tuesday morning will have cloudy skies with a 30 per cent chance of flurries blown on 15 km/h winds, clearing by late morning with a high of 4 C. The winds will persist overnight when the temperature will drop to -5 C before climbing back up on Wednesday to 5 C, winds staying steady at 15 km/h.
