The domestic turmoil of the actress couple Nur Fazura and Fattah Amin finally found a tipping point when they were legally divorced on Monday morning.
Fattah, 34, pronounced the divorce against Fazura, 41, at about 9.45am at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court, Subang Bestari in Shah Alam.
The statement was made in front of the Syarie Judge, Abdul Malek Soleh. Saddened by the separation, Fazura or Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, could not hold back tears when meeting the media outside the court.
“I am not sad about this divorce. Decisions are not made in an instant. I have been miserable for years. I have thought for a long time. I calmed down,” he said.
In the meantime, Fazura said that among the reasons she filed for divorce was that her ex-husband had failed to provide alimony in addition to being unfaithful in the marriage.
“Fattah ignore the maintenance for me and Fatima (son). We don’t agree anymore. I haven’t been happy in a long time. Indeed Fattah is cheating. I have proof,” he said.
Fazura on September 13 filed for divorce against Fattah in the same court.
For the record, Fazura and Fattah got married on 27 November 2017. As a result of that marriage, they were blessed with a daughter Nur Fatima Aisya, 4 years old. – Agency
