CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Guardians came up with not one, but two clutch home runs in the final innings of Game 3 of the ALCS to stun the Yankees, 7-5, on Thursday at Progressive Field.
You may have heard the radio calls from Guardians announcer Tom Hamilton as he called the homers for Jhonkensy Noel and David Fry.
If you’re looking for more radio highlights, check out the call from the Spanish crew of Rafa Hernandez-Brito, who is also the Spanish radio announcer for the Cavs, and former Cleveland infielder Carlos Baerga from 1350-AM Radio in Akron.
“Feliz Navidad!” Hernandez-Brito shouted twice during Noel’s game-tying home run, playing off the nickname of Big Christmas.
In addition to hearing the calls for the home runs of Noel and Brito, you can also hear them call Kyle Manzardo’s home run in the third inning.
