Can this work? A guided debate on a large scale, with 275 randomly selected Berliners who are to develop a common idea on one of the most controversial topics in the city – the Future of Tempelhofer Feld?Enough volunteers have at least taken the risk. Around 200 people came to the main hall of the former airport on Saturday morning to talk about what a development on the edge of Tempelhofer Feld could look like, at the invitation of the Senate. On the morning of the first dialogue workshop initiated by the Senate on the subject, it became clear that many participants were at least skeptical about whether this made sense.
