Determined to continue the divorce with her husband Fattah Amin, actress Nur Fazura said the decision was not an easy thing for her.
Fazura or her real name is Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, 40, said she had taken various aspects into account before deciding to file for divorce on September 13.
“The decision I made last September 13 was not something that was taken lightly without any consideration and deep reflection about the future of Fatima and me.
“Today, I remain determined to continue my previous decision for the sake of my dignity as a woman and the well-being of Fatima in my life,” he said through a post on Instagram on Wednesday evening.
The statement was made after the proceedings of the mention of the divorce application which took place at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court, Subang Bestari, Selangor. However, the divorce did not happen and the mention will take place on October 7 next.
In the meantime, Fazura also expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the public’s support and prayers for him.
“I want to say a thousand thanks to everyone who has given me support, good prayers, words of encouragement as well as flowers and signs of heart for more than a week,” he explained.
On September 13, Fazura filed for divorce against Fattah at the Syariah Lower Court in Petaling, Subang Bestari, Selangor.
For the record, Fazura and Fattah got married on 27 November 2017. As a result of that marriage, they were blessed with a daughter Nur Fatima Aisya, 3 years old. – Agency
