Trump apologized to the others who were waiting for him on the runway of one of the state’s airports, and blamed his delay on the interview he conducted with Joe Rogan He is the most famous podcaster in the United States and an influential voice among young male voters who courtes Trump.
The interview, which was recorded in Austin, Texas, was broadcast on Friday evening, and lasted for three hours, in which Trump spoke about many of his familiar stories from his campaign rallies and other talk interviews, in addition to answering Rogan’s questions.
Trump’s interview with Rogan was another opportunity for the Republican candidate to shed light on the stereotypical masculine behavior that has prevailed throughout much of his 2024 election campaign. Trump made masculinity a major theme of his election campaign, appearing on podcasts targeting young male voters.
He criticized federal support aimed at massively boosting the American semiconductor industry, which is one of President Joe Biden’s biggest achievements. Chipmakers credited the legislation with billions of dollars in support for new factories.
He also criticized Taiwan, the autonomous island nation, which has always been aligned with the United States.
And he said Trump To Rogan: “You know, Taiwan stole our chip business. Well it wants us to protect it. It doesn’t pay us money for protection, you know that.”
Trump described Chinese President Xi Jinping, whose government considers Taiwan a renegade province, “a smart man whether you like him or not.”
