Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has won the Formula 1 race in Monza. The Monegasque celebrated his seventh career victory on the high-speed circuit in Italy and gave the Tifosi a home victory for the Scuderia. Australian Oscar Piastri in the McLaren came second ahead of his teammate Lando Norris.

The Englishman, who started from pole position, reduced his deficit in the drivers’ standings to world championship leader Max Verstappen to 62 points. The Red Bull world champion had to settle for sixth place. The only German regular driver, Nico Hülkenberg, only managed to finish 17th in his Haas after an early collision and a ten-second penalty.
