Edmonton police have charged four men in connection with the April 2023 homicide of a 35-year-old man.

On April 8, 2023, at roughly 5:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a critically injured man in an apartment building lobby near 109 Avenue and 97 Street, police said in a Thursday news release.

When officers arrived, they found Gabriel Dumont, 35, dead.

An autopsy on April 11, 2023, revealed Dumont’s cause of death was a gunshot wound and the manner of death was homicide, police said.

The Edmonton Police Service has since charged Dustin Matthew Couterielle-Hilton, 33, Percy William Stanley Littlechild, 31, and Jordan Lee Travis Roasting, 34, with first-degree murder in Dumont’s death.

Courterielle-Hilton and Littlechild are currently incarcerated on unrelated charges, police said.

Police said they’ve issued warrants for Joshua Adam Raymond, 31, who is wanted on charges of first-degree murder in Dumont’s death.

Anyone with information on Raymond’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at 780-423-4567.
