A German tourist has died in a shark attack off the Spanish Canary Islands. The 30-year-old lost a leg in the shark attack south of the holiday island of Gran Canaria on Monday afternoon, rescue workers told the AFP news agency.
A few hours later, she succumbed to her injuries on board a rescue helicopter that evening. (AFP)
