LYNDHURST, Ohio — The weather has gotten cooler and leaves are starting to fall — which means it is chili season. Specifically, it’s the time of year once more for the Community Partnership on Aging’s (CPA) annual Chili Cook-Off, to be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24.
The event annually benefits the Safe at Home program, which allows CPA to install minor home modifications in the homes of older adults within the Hillcrest area to help prevent seniors from falling while in their homes. Falls are one of the leading causes of injury and illness among the population.
