Greeting ceremony for the opening of the Noble Hair Room of the Prophet SAW

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 6 SEPT – To enliven the month of the birth of our great lord Prophet Muhammad SAW with religious activities, the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Khazanah Hall (BKISHHB), yesterday held a Blessing Ceremony at BKISHB.

This is to mark the opening of the Noble Hair Room of the Prophet SAW for a month during the month of Rabiulawal from September 5 to October 3.

Present as special guests to the ceremony were the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department and the Second Minister of Finance and Economy, the Honorable Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah; Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, the Honorable Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin; Minister of Development, Honorable Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohd Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid; The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Honorable Dato Seri Setia Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad and the Government Mufti, the Honorable Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Dr Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned as members of the BKISHHB Advisory Board.

The presence of the special guests was welcomed by the Director of BKISHHB, Dr Haji Awang Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Dikir Syarafil Anam in large numbers led by 15 religious teachers from the Department of Islamic Studies (JPI), and ended with the recitation of the Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam led by JPI’s Religious Education Officer, Awang Mohammad Zamery bin Haji Nayan.

The collection of noble hair artifacts of the Prophet SAW is among the valuable and priceless collection materials available at BKISHHB.
