BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 15 – A total of 100 people attended the 69th Da’ie Guidance Conference of the Year 1446H/2024M which was held at the Conference Hall, Islamic Da’wah Center, Kampung Pulaie yesterday.
The program organized by the Islamic Dakwah Center (PDI) through the Da’wah Propagation Division was attended by PDI Director, Awang Haji Abd Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh as the guest of honor.
The program is held with the aim of coordinating the content of the lectures so that the issues or topics presented by the speakers are consistent and always relevant with the passage of time and the times.
The participants of the program consist of the Department of Religion, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense; The Department of Mosque Affairs and the Division of Islamic Doctrine Development as well as lecturers and assistant lecturers at Seri Begawan Religious Teaching University College (KUPU SB) under the Ministry of Religious Affairs; lecturers and assistant lecturers of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, preachers from government and private departments and certified preachers of the Council of Islamic Religion, as well as PDI officials and staff.
Present as an invited facilitator for the Halaqah was Senior Assistant Professor, Center for Jawi Studies and Kitab Turath, KUPU SB, Dr Haji Harapandi Dahri.
The program started with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the presentation of souvenirs to the invited facilitators which was completed by the PDI Director. The program continued with a presentation by the facilitator and then a discussion and question-and-answer session.
