After the first TV duel between US presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, the Democrat has extended her lead over the Republican, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
According to the survey published on Thursday, The incumbent Vice President is now ahead of the former head of state with 47 to 42 percent. At the end of August, it was four percentage points ahead.
The two-day poll also found that a majority – 53 percent – see Harris as the winner of Tuesday evening’s debate (local time). For Trump it was 24 percent. A close result is expected in the vote on November 5. (Reuters)
