Sport: The Panthers eventually won the game 6-1 and evened the series at 1-1, but perhaps the ejection chaos in the third period will be best remembered.

The superstars Matthew Tkachuk (Boston) and David Pastrnak (Florida) ended up in a regular fist fight and scored several solid hits on each other. They were imposed a total of 30 minutes in the penalty box.

– We are talking about two stars. It was a bit hot and they wanted to challenge each other. I think it was awesome. They looked OK when it was all over. “Maybe some people were upset by it, but I’m sorry – I thought it was great,” Panthers coach Paul Maurice told the AP after the game.

A total of 157 minutes were distributed in Wednesday’s match. 146 of them came in the third period. A total of twelve players received match penalties.

The teams meet for the third game in the best of seven series as early as Friday.
