During the vice-presidential debate, Sen. JD Vance said that Republicans need to work harder to regain the trust of voters.
I have to wonder how that will happen, given that Vance himself spends so much time lying to voters. If a political party’s leaders are regularly lying, and promoting those who lie in their service, and, when confronted about the lying, double down on the lying, even often admitting they are lying, how can we trust the result? (Asking this for a friend.)
