CLEVELAND, Ohio — The kid-friendly Trick-or-Treat Fest starts on Oct. 4 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, but adults also will get a chance to celebrate Halloween at the zoo.
The inaugural Howl-O-Ween Bash, a one-night-only event for adults 21 and older, is set for 6 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 25, the zoo announced today.
“Howl-O-Ween Bash offers a rare opportunity for an adults-only zoo experience ” Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer Kelly Manderfield said in a statement. “Guests will enjoy a variety of festive fall fun after dark in the zoo, with unique twists on Halloween traditions.”
The event will feature live bands, a DJ and a silent disco, as well as magicians, stilt-walkers, henna tattoo artists, tarot card readers, giant games and other activities. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and there will be a contest for the best outfit.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Admission is $30 per person and tickets are on sale at FutureForWildlife.org/Bash.
