Travelers on the railway line from Cologne via Aachen to Belgium had to be very patient this evening. Due to a signaling fault near Liège in Belgium, some of the ICE trains to Brussels were cancelled, a railway spokeswoman said. The passengers were transported on to the Belgian capital by bus. The fault has now been resolved – but due to the backlog it may take some time before the trains run normally again.
