Idea collection ends, first votes underway

As part of the Potsdam Citizens’ Budget, suggestions can still be submitted for the city center and Schlaatz. In the city center, the collection of ideas ends on September 9, as the city announced. In Schlaatz, the deadline was extended to September 30th. In the prefabricated housing district, the Schlaatz Council interest group and the district management are available to contact. Public events are planned in both districts, at which the most important projects will be selected.

For other citizen budgets, public voting will start soon or is already underway. For Potsdam’s first city youth budget, voting is still possible until September 5th. 18 ideas can be voted on onlinePeople aged between seven and 21 can take part. By the end of last week, around 500 participants had been counted. On Saturday (September 7th) from 4 p.m., all ideas will be presented at the finale on the island stage and then celebrated, it was said.

At the first queer budget Voting among the 30 proposals has been running since Monday and will continue until 15 September at 2 p.m. on-line. This can also be done offline on the last day of voting from 2 p.m. in the La Leander on Benkertstrasse.

In Bornim and Bornstedt, voting begins on September 14th, in Kirchsteigfeld a public jury will determine the winners by mid-September. In Groß Glienicke a jury will decide on September 16th in the community center. In Babelsberg this will take place at the end of October – anyone who would like to be part of the jury there can register at the Heidehaus at Großbeerenstraße 98a.
