Great at acting stunts, Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan is no exception when faced with alarming situations during filming.
Jackie, 70, revealed that she once fainted while filming a stunt for the movie Panda Plan.
“Suddenly I felt weak and wanted to collapse. Then the crew kept running towards me to make sure I was safe. I was like unaware and confused by what happened. When I was told that I fainted, I couldn’t believe it and thought it might have happened because I was holding my breath while doing the action scenes,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jackie says she insists on being fine but needs help getting up.
Committed to her career, Jackie also continued filming the same scene after a short break.
“It’s not a big deal, I need to reassure everyone I’m fine. Otherwise they will use a stuntman in my place. If I just sat on the sidelines watching the production use stuntmen, I would feel so guilty!” he added.
Meanwhile, Jackie received a standing ovation from the production crew after he performed his own stunt of speeding a high-powered motorcycle through a window. The whole crew was not happy to sit when the motorcycle they were riding lost control before being thrown a few meters away.
Not only that, Jackie also jumped from the floor onto a large wooden box before jumping to the second floor of a building. Although it looks easy, it is still challenging considering that he is already 70 years old. Apart from Jackie Chan, Panda Plan also features panda Hu Hu as the main star.
The film tells the story of kung fu star Jackie Chan (played by Jackie) who is invited to take care of a popular panda cub, Hu Hu who is the target of an international criminal organization. – Agency
