BTS member Jimin reportedly received an early promotion as an elite soldier even though he had only been in military training for a few months.
Allkpop reported that Jimin was also appointed as the best military trainee after receiving the Division Commander’s Award. It is an honor given to those who show exceptional dedication and physical endurance.
Through a message to fans on the Weverse site, Jimin shared his progress doing military training with another member, Jungkook. Although they rarely see each other, Jimin says they are always in touch through phone calls.
“I haven’t talked to you all for almost a month. It feels like a long time but because I have Jungkook (BTS member) I feel like the time goes by fast. We were always chatting on the public phone, and we were working hard all through the camp. We depend on each other,” he explained.
Jimin and Jungkook joined the military service together in December 2023 and are currently serving under the same Division. They are expected to complete training in June 2025. -Agency
